If It's Positive

1.	POSITIVE might not mean PREGNANT.
	Have you taken a positive home pregnancy test? If you answered yes, you still need a doctor to confirm the pregnancy is developing properly. Just because a pregnancy test is positive, doesn’t mean the pregnancy is healthy. 2.	STI means STOP.
	Have you been tested for an STI? Even if you’ve only had one partner, there is a risk that you could carry a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI). STI’s affect any pregnancy decision. If a woman has untreated STI’s at the time of her abortion, it can increase her likelihood of PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease).
	If left untreated, PID can escalate into lifelong medical complications.² If a woman decides to carry to term, untreated STI’s can be transferred to the baby during delivery.² All women should be tested for STI’s regardless of their pregnancy decision.
